These medals were awarded to the father of four brothers for service during WWII. A gentleman came into the shop asking for three identical frames to be made for his three brothers as surprise gifts. They were delighted when the framed medals arrived one day in the post!

OBE Framed:

Original Artwork, ‘Aphrodite’ by Sally Parker, Artist (size: 1020 x 810mm). The painting is an original artwork by exhibiting artist Sally Parker. The frame, appropriately in a Greek style, compliments the piece beautifully.

One of the most interesting collection of objects brought into the workshop were these gloves which were used for bomb disposal operations in Afghanistan. The solid ash wood frame was hand finished with teak stain and clear wax. The frame and mountboard colours were chosen to complement the gloves at the same time as reflecting desert colours of the region. TruVue’s clear water white specialist glass was used to provide optimum clarity and colour rendition.
